Classical ballet, Latin jazz, modern dance and dance theatre will all be on display in a 90 minute-plus extravaganza with the Fredonia Dance Ensemble from March 6 to 9 in Marvel Theatre at the State University of New York at Fredonia. “We’ve been working on this concert since the end of August,” said Helen Myers, coordinator of dance at SUNY Fredonia. “These are all new pieces.”

The East Coast premiere of a play based upon the life of the filmmaker who chronicled the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany will be staged this month by the Department of Theatre and Dance. “Aunt Raini” will be the third event in the 2007-08 Walter Gloor Mainstage Series and will feature a visit from the New Mexico playwright, Tom Smith.
