Fredonia Wind Ensemble: 4 p.m., King Concert Hall. Conducted by Dr. Paula Holcomb. Featured soloists are Fredonia violin professor, Janet Sung, and Fredonia percussion music major, Doug Feig. Free.
Reception for Tom Dudzik and Barry Shapiro: 4:30 to 6 p.m., Art Gallery Lobby. SUNY Fredonia alumni Dudzik and Shapiro are on campus for two days to deliver workshops to theatre students. Reception is sponsored by the Department of Theatre and Dance.
Moulin Rouge Ball: 7 p.m., Williams Center Multipurpose Room. An Interactive Theatre experience inspired by Moulin Rouge, including a ball, a costume contest and performances by Interactive Theatre Society. Admission is $5 ($3 students).
Fredonia Dance Ensemble: 8 p.m., Marvel Theatre. Student dancers, under the direction of Helen Myers, associate professor, present innovative works that capture the beauty of the body in motion. Tickets are $15 for the public, $14 for senior citizens and $13 for students. Sponsored by Lake Shore Savings. Buy tickets online here.
