Student research and creativity hailed during expo

Alumnus and Chemistry Professor Christopher Cahill will give keynote address.

The 10th Annual Student Research and Creativity Exposition will be held at the State University of New York at Fredonia on Thursday, April 24 from noon to 6:00 p.m. in the Williams Center. There will be posters, presentations, displays, performances, and demonstrations, and Dr. Christopher Cahill will deliver the keynote address at 4:15 p.m.

Dr. Cahill, a Fredonia chemistry alumnus who is now professor of chemistry at George Washington University, will give the talk, “Four Years at Fredonia: The Nucleation of a Career in Science." Dr. Cahill graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a B.S. in Chemistry and Geochemistry in 1993. He is the recipient of numerous grants, scholarships, and awards, and has published 59 peer-reviewed articles. A reception will follow his presentation.
