Holiday Donation Drive: Throughout the day, volunteers will sweep the campus collecting donations (non-perishable food, new or old toys, and new or old (gently used) clothing) for the effort to benefit the local agencies of the Holiday Caregivers Coalition (United Way, The Salvation Army and Rural Ministries). Faculty and staff should place donations outside their office doors by noon; residential students should place donations in the lobbies of their buildings by 10 a.m. Donations can also be dropped off in the Williams Center, Room G-144, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. 

College of Education Awards Luncheon: noon, Alumni House & Conference Center.

Improv & Trumpet Classes with guest artist Mike Kaupa: Improv class is noon to 1 p.m., and trumpet class is 1 to 2 p.m., both in Diers Recital Hall. Free. All welcome.  Mike Kaupa is currently teaching music at the Harley School in Rochester, NY, and teaches jazz trumpet and small groups at the Eastman School of Music summer high school jazz camp.  He recently recorded a duo CD in Toronto, This Is Spring, with pianist Gordon Webster.

Senior Show: 2 to 6 p.m., Rockefeller Arts Center Art Gallery. Free. All welcome.

Social Sciences Colloquium: 3 p.m., Thompson Hall Room E347. Title:  “Embracing Racial Diversity and The Curse of the Pseudoindependent Status”  Co-presenters are Dr. Timothy Levonyan Radloff (sociology) and Dr. Suthakaran Veerasamy (psychology). Refreshments served.

Skate Class Show: 5 to 7:15 p.m., Steele Hall Ice Arena. 

Dance VIA Orchesis Redux: 8 p.m., Marvel Theatre. Tickets available through the SUNY Fredonia Ticket Office, Williams Center, 716-673-3501.

Fredonia Jazz Workshop Fall Concert: 8 p.m., Juliet J. Rosch Recital Hall. All of the groups of the student run FJW will be performing, including the Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Weapons of Jazz Destruction and Fredonia Jazz Ensemble. Free. All welcome.

Walter Gloor Mainstage Series presents Moliere’s “Tartuffe:” 8 p.m., Bartlett Theatre. Tickets available at the SUNY Fredonia Ticket Office in Williams Center.
