School of Business Speakers Series: Noon, S-104 Williams Center. Inaugurating this new series is business law attorney Michael Schiavone, who is corporate counsel for the Buffalo Bills. Schiavone, a 1978 Fredonia alumnus, practices law for Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria, LLP, of Buffalo and Fredonia. For information and reservations, contact the Fredonia College Foundation at 673-3321.

Family Weekend: 3 to 11 p.m., campus-wide. Family Weekend is a variety of events sponsored by the Office of Campus Life, 673-3143. It kicks off today with a pre-show buffet featuring hot hors d’oeuvres, beef on weck, pizza, cheese platters and other light buffet items in the Williams Center. Later that evening, families can choose from a program of comedy at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House to laugh out loud with Tim Young. This extremely talented funny guy may look foamiliar to you considering he has performed at more than 500 colleges and universities, made an appearance on Cemedy Central's "Premium Blend," and stars in a recent Jet Blue commercial.
