Fall Brown Bag series ends Dec. 5 with a look at holidays around the world

The fall Arts and Sciences Brown Bag Series, “A Global Perspective,” will conclude on Dec. 5 with a look at “Holidays from Around the World.” Presenters include: Daniela Peterka-Benton, Ph.D., Sociology; Eric Meringer, Ph.D., History; Chiara De Santi, Ph.D., Modern Languages; and, Ellen Litwicki, Ph.D. , History, who will moderate the panel.

The presentation, will begin at noon in the Williams Center, room S204, and will be followed by a discussion and refreshments. Students are invited to remain for Brown Bag Desserts, an informal conversation over dessert with the featured speakers. The talks are free and open to all campus and community members. Classes are welcome.

This year’s series is directed by Teodora Cox, mathematical sciences; Jack Croxton, psychology; Natalie Gerber, English; Laura Johnson, communication; and, Theodore Lee, biology.
