Dr. Michael Jabot, education professor, was invited to present his work as part of the National Learning Progressions in Science Conference held in June.  Dr. Jabot  presented work concerning his development of a conceptual diagnostic assessment and how this assessment can be coupled with learning progressions to impact science education. In particular, he discussed how this work can inform the development of standards and curricula, teacher preparation and professional development.
