SUNY Fredonia has selected the Ray Bradbury novel, “Fahrenheit 451,” a classic work about censorship in a dysfunctional and bleak future, as the feature of its program. The organizations selected to promote and carry out community-based programs for The Big Read will receive grants ranging from $5,000 to $20,000.

Dr. John Kijinski, dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at Idaho State University, Pocatello, has been selected after a national search as dean of the College of Arts & Humanities at SUNY Fredonia.
