The Ethos New Music Society of SUNY Fredonia will present "Hearing Voices" on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m., in the Juliet J. Rosch Recital Hall. The concert of art songs begins the group’s 30th season of active support of new music in Western New York and will feature student singers and pianists premiering compositions by student composers. Works by Ryan Brewer of Dansville, Scott Byrne of Northport, Sara Culhane and Joel Hunt of Rochester, Scott Farkas of Stony Point, Alex Northrup of Webster, Seth Rush of Commack, and Chris Sobolewski of Marcellus, will be featured. The concert is free and the public is invited to attend.
