Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 meal plans are not active during the semester break; however, a J-75 Meal Plan will be available for students enrolled in J-Term. A J-75 plan functions for the J-Term session only. Cash, check, major credit cards, SUNY Fredonia Debit Accounts and FREDFunds are accepted during the semester break at Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Cranston Marche, University Bookstore and the C-Store.

The Admissions Office in Fenner Hall will be open, with limited staffing, throughout the shutdown period with the exception of Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, when the office will be closed.
Reed Library will close Friday, Dec. 20, at 4:30 p.m. and re-open Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at 7:30 a.m. The library will then be open Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 4:30 p.m., until classes resume.
Final grades are due at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, through Your Connection.
SUNY Fredonia Credit Union will be open Monday, Dec. 23, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, Dec. 24, 9 a.m. to noon; Thursday, Dec. 26, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 27, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Tuesday, Dec. 31, 9 a.m. to noon. The office will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. The Credit Union will resume regular hours on Thursdday, Jan. 2.

The FSA office will close Friday, Dec. 20, at 5 p.m. and re-open on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at 8:30 a.m.
Dods and Steele Hall will host limited activities Dec. 20 through Jan. 2, 2014. Public skating will be held Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Dec. 21-23, and Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Dec. 26-30, 7:30 to 9 p.m. Both facilities will be closed Christmas eve, Christmas day and New Year’s eve and New Year’s day.
The Blue Devils Fitness Center and racquetball courts will be open Jan. 6-10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Jan. 13-17, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Jan. 21-24, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, for Martin Luther King Day.
The pool will be open for public recreational swimming Jan. 2-3, 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., and 8 to 10 p.m. Those hours will be continued Jan. 6-10, 13-17, 21-23.
The Employee Assistance Program office will be closed Dec. 23 to Jan. 2, but the EAP coordinator will check messages left at 673-3586 and schedule appointments if necessary during the holiday break.
The Fredonia College Foundation, 272 Central Ave. will be closed during the campus shutdown, but gifts will be received and processed during the last week of December. University Police will continue to operate 24 hours a day, every day. In the event of an emergency, call 673-3333.
Facilities Services will have limited maintenance and custodial staffing during the holiday shutdown. There will be limited snowplowing of parking lots and walkways and limited snow shoveling at building entrances. Non-essential parking lots will not be plowed during evenings and nights. In an emergency, contact University Police, 673-3333. Requests for maintenance submitted online will be monitored daily. Facilities Services offices will be closed Saturday, Dec. 21 through Sunday, Dec.29. Office hours return Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 30 and 31, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will be closed Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Heating services will provide standard, around-the-clock coverage except on Christmas and New Year’s Day.
The mailroom will be open Monday, Dec. 23, Friday, Dec. 27 and Monday, Dec. 30, 8 a.m. to noon.
Departments may elect to pick up their department mail from the mailroom during these hours only. There will be no delivery of mail to departments. Any outgoing mail needs to be delivered to the mailroom by 11 a.m. on the days the mailroom is open to ensure processing. Mail received after 11 a.m. will be processed the following open work day.
Central Stores will be open for deliveries on Dec. 23, 27 and 30. Deliveries will not be made to buildings.
The Campus and Community Children’s Center will be closed for families from Tuesday, Dec. 24, through Wednesday, Jan. 1.
The garage will be open on Monday, Dec. 23, Friday, Dec. 27 and Monday, Dec. 30.
