Operation Breakfast Rescue collecting goods Tuesday, Nov. 5

SUNY Fredonia Office of Volunteer and Community Services will host its 10th annual Operation Breakfast Rescue on Tuesday, Nov. 5 to benefit the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry's Friendly Kitchen. The drive will take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Williams Center Room G 103C.
Students, faculty, and staff can drop off non-perishable breakfast food items such as cereal, coffee/creamer, oatmeal, pancake mix, breakfast bars, baby formula, cream of wheat, canned fruit, and other shelf-stable items. Additional donations can be placed in boxes located in the Daniel A. Reed Library Saturday, Nov. 2 through Monday, Nov. 4 (during operating hours), as well as at La Fiesta in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
The event is being co-sponsored by the Office of Volunteer and Community Services in conjunction with the Daniel A. Reed Library, Delta Chi and Latinos Unidos. Operation Breakfast is a part of the Days of Service week long event.
