Volunteer opportunities for students spotlighted at Community Service Fair

SUNY Fredonia students will be able to learn about a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available to them in the area at the 10th annual Community Service Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.
Representatives from a variety of local service agencies will meet with students and provide information about their organizations and also sign up students interested in serving. Participating agencies include: Centaur Stride, Chautauqua County Rural Ministry (Friendly Kitchen/ Garment Gallery), Fredonia Place, United Way of Northern Chautauqua County, Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County, Make-A-Wish Metro N.Y. and Western N.Y. and St. Columban’s on the Lake Retirement Home.
Also, the Salvation Army, Chautauqua County Home, Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation, Compeer Chautauqua, Greystone Nature Preserve, Boys and Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua, Chautauqua Blind Association, Campus and Community Children’s Center, Upward Bound, American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, WCA Home and Circle of Love, among others.
